BRISBANE
The Brisbane campus is ideally located at the Brisbane International Airport and is only a stones throw from the heart of the CBD with shopping centres, public transport & accommodation nearby.
With dedicated facilities for both Cabin Crew training and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training, Aviation Australia is the perfect venue for your aviation training needs.
The Cabin Crew Training Centre is a 5,000 square metre, purpose built facility used for emergency procedures training and is the rst independent Cabin Crew training facility in the Asia-Paci c region.
The Cabin Crew Centre Training facilities include:
- 14 classrooms complete with data projectors
- A range of operational and dedicated training aids including two aircraft cabin simulators, a narrow body and a wide body to simulate real conditions for cabin crew in emergency situations
- Various aircraft doors such as Boeing 717, 737, 747, 767 and 777 aircraft as well as A320 and A330 Airbus
- Aircraft evacuation slides and inflatable safety rafts
- Large pool for water safety drills
- Internet enabled computer resources for study and remedial learning
- Office space for hosted training providers such as Emergency Procedure training instructors
- Student amenities including a large lunch room with recreation area
- Two large conference rooms
The Technical Training Centre is just as impressive. With its innovative training aides and wide range of static aircraft, it is ideal for all your Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training needs.
The Technical Training Centre facilities include:
- 17 classrooms complete with data projectors and “smartboards”
- Resource library
- Internet enabled computer resources for study and remedial learning
- Workshops - Avionics, Hydraulics, Composites and General Engineering
- Hangar with operational aircraft
- A wide range of aircraft such as Fokker F28, Boeing 727, Bell 206 Helicopter, Robinson 44 Helicopter, Cessna 152, Piper Seminole, Pressurised Piper Navajo, Beechcraft Kingair
- A dedicated stores facility housing various tools and equipment
- Student amenities including a Prayer Room, Canteen and Lunch Area with kitchen facilities
The canteen located on site is open from 7am – 2pm, Monday to Friday. In addition to providing lunches, light snacks, tea and coffee, special catering can be arranged on request.
