EASA Part 147 Programs
Successful completion of these programs may also lead to Australian (CASA) licensing if required. Cadet programs are conducted at Aviation Australia's Brisbane International Airport Training facilities with a return of cadets to their parent company for structured on the job training either during or at the end of the training program. Subscription to Part 147 programs allows cadets to be accelerated towards AME licensing after:
- For Category A, an additional 1 year of experience working as an AME
- For Category B1.1, B1.3 & B2, an additional 2 years of experience working as an AME
Aviation Australia approvals allow cadets to be enrolled in the following EASA programs:
- Category A1 - Turbine Aeroplane
- Category B1.1 - Turbine Aeroplane
- Category B1.3 - Turbine Helicopter
- Category B2 - Avionics
